The food is good, no complaints there. The service is always fast--they recommend ordering ahead, but it is often faster to just walk in and order on the spot. The to-go sauce cups are sometimes a bit sticky--it would be nice if they were a little more careful when filling them. Oh well. There is no indoor seating, just a few picnic tables outside.
Stopped in while driving through - wasn't expecting much and was amazed at how good the food was. If was take out only but there's tables outside you can sit at. Highly recommend the pulled pork and pulled chicken. I've had a lot of bbq in my life and this is easily one of the best I've ever had. Hope to return soon.
This branch of Bear's is just take-out..but you should stop by! I had the Macho Nachos which was sooooo much food, but they were sooooo good. I added the pulled chicken, which was such a good choice. Their Mac & cheese is creamy and delightful.
The food and the service was above and beyond. The friendly staff was very helpful with explaining the menu, quick and extremely welcoming. The food was outstanding. We tried the burnt ends, brisket, corn bread with honey butter (yum!), a sweet and sweet/spicy bbq sauce, collard greens and mac n' cheese. Everything was perfection. But the collard green were suprisingly off the chart delicious. Best I ever tasted and I am a southern girl. It is a must visit if you are a BBQ lover.
I ordered the pulled chicken and pork,mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese for my birthday gathering. Everyone loved the food! More than enough for all the guests. The potatoes and Mac n cheese were a huge hit! They were finished! I had 30 guests! Everything came in tin foil treys with covers for easy transport and transfer into holders for heating! I highly recommend them!
We got this food as takeout. The burnt ends were the superstar!! If you go, you must get them. Our favorite sides were the Mac & cheese, collards, and beans. We also tried the potato salad (vinegar base) and coleslaw (creamy & sweet) which were solid but nothing special. We hear from family that the broccoli salad is amazing but we haven't tried it ourselves since they were out. Pulled pork and the 2 bbq sauces were also tasty. Make sure you order early because if they are out of a meat, it takes a while.
I live in Texas but always stop at Bears when visiting family in Windsor .Broccoli salad is my favorites.
